NATIONAL VALIDATION TEAM EVALUATES LGU MIDSAYAP FOR THE
SEAL OF GOOD LOCAL GOVERNANCE
LGU Midsayap is one of the four municipalities in North Cotabato and Region XII and one of the 603 LGUs nationwide which qualified for the 2017 Seal of Good Local Governance National Validation.
LGU Midsayap’s scheduled visit on August 24, 2017 by Team C (which covers North Cotabato) was composed of LGOO Roselyn Cuevas, LGOO II Ferdaussi Ross Abdullah and LGOO II Faidsa Kalanduyan, all from DILG ARMM Regional Office in Cotabato City.
The main objective of the evaluation is to strengthen the data reliability of 2017 SGLG results.
DILG Provincial Director Ali B. Abdullah, Midsayap Mayor Romeo D. Araña, MLGOO V Queenee A. Sucol, LGU Department Heads and office representatives were present during the validation that was held at the Executive Conference Room.
Strategies employed by the validators include Coordinated Visit to the LGU, On-site Inspection, Document Checking and Interview.
LGUs that will pass the SGLG National Validation will be awarded this October 2017 by no less than the OIC DILG Secretary Catalino Cuy.
Mayor Romeo D. Araña said he is thankful to the efforts of people behind the qualification of the Municipality as a contender on Seal of Good Local Governance, to the support of Sangguniang Bayan, Department Heads Section Heads, SLG Focal Person and the Technical Staff.
Mayor Araña calls for a more challenging years ahead and for the LGU to sustain and excel more and more in the years to come. Masayang Midsayap!
