Community Based Monitoring System Data Validation is on its way to the 40th barangay today, September 15, 2017 at Barangay Olandang.     This activity will end on September 26, 2017 at Barangays Poblacion 8 and Villarica.

Local Government Unit of Midsayap is a recipient of the 2016 Department of Interior and Local Government – Bottom-Up Budgeting (DILG-BUB) Fund for Community Based Monitoring System – Accelerated Poverty Profiling (CBMS-APP) with equity from the local government.

CBMS – APP is an organized, systematic and efficient combined use of latest information and communication technology tools in data collection (tablet-based), data processing (STATSIM), poverty mapping and data management instruments using Quantum Geographic Information System (QGIS).

Tablet based census culminated last March 15, 2017.   Data processing, map digitizing and data validation to barangays are simultaneously conducted by CBMS Team composed of Data Processors and Field Validators.

CBMS Team is very grateful for the warm response and acceptance of the barangay officials and other stakeholders on the result of the tablet-based census.    Changes to stored data are done by data processors per feedback of the stakeholders.  Barangay data and poverty maps are available at the Office of the Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator (OMPDC) for request.
